GENERAL INFORMATION

Local pickup is the only guarantee for safe delivery of your artwork. If local pickup is not possible, shipping with tracking and insurance is recommended. Please be familiar with the shipping policy below prior to purchase.

shipping OPTIONS

Canada Post - Untracked Photomailer: By selecting this more economical shipping option, there is no tracking or insurance included, therefore you assume the risks associated. The artist is NOT responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or undelivered mail. The artist will not refund the cost or replace any art damaged or lost during shipping. Sorry!

Canada Post Xpresspost Tracked Photomailer (RECOMMENDED): Tracking and insurance is included. If your package arrives with visible damage, please take photos of the unopened package and send an email to kirst@kirstenbollen.com as soon as possible. If you are tracking your package and it is undelivered or lost, please send an email to kirst@kirstenbollen.com as soon as possible. I will work with the carrier to make this right. However, please note the artist is not responsible for any stolen mail once delivered to your address.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Depending on the item, international shipping may be permitted upon special request. Taxes, duty, customs fees, etc. are not included in the shipping quote and may be at an additional charge to you upon receiving the package.

PACKAGING

Prints, art on paper, and ornaments will be wrapped in tissue paper (plastic free) and placed in a rigid, cardboard photomailer. Environmentally-friendly practices are important to the artist and packaging will be reused whenever possible. Please do your best to recycle the packaging material on your end - TIA! :)

Sorry if this policy comes across strict or unfair. I am an individual artist doing their best, and cannot compete with big business’s inclusive policies like Amazon. Shipping is one of the only times issues are reported back to me. Please select the more expensive tracking option to protect your purchase and which allows me to help, otherwise any issues that arise are out of my control.
