Custom Miniscape
Do you have a meaningful landscape you’d like painted? Work with Kirst to create a custom miniscape, based off your photos.
Your miniscape will be painted with matte acrylic on 6” x 6” paper, in a 4.25” circle.
What does the process look like?
Once you purchase the miniscape here, you will be asked to complete the custom miniscape form to share specifics about the artwork.
Send your reference photos to kirst@kirstenbollen.com - the more options you have, the better!
I will email you back and will likely have additional questions to ensure our visions are aligned. The custom miniscape involves a lot of trust, as I work directly from the reference photo(s) to create the final product. No mock-up will be shared beforehand.
As soon as the painting is completed, I will email you a final photo of your custom artwork and it will be shipped or arrange a time for you to pick it up.
What kind of reference photos do you send?
I can work from most photos of your favourite landscape! I primarily paint mountains and alpine lakes, but please send me an email if you have something else in mind, like a beach or forest landscape.
I will use your photo(s) and simply the forms to express the essence of nature. I do not paint people, man-made structures, or detailed landscape features, such as trees, flowers, clouds, etc.
Please do not send me other artist’s or professional photographer’s work unless you have already acquired their permission first.
How long does it take?
Depending on workload, custom miniscapes typically take 2 to 6 weeks to be completed. If you have a specific date you need the artwork by, please contact me before purchasing to ensure it can be painted in time.
Other important things to note…
Please select local pickup or the tracked Xpresspost mailing option to ensure your artwork gets to you safely. Familiarize yourself with our shipping policies before checking out.
Looking for a different size? This can usually be accommodated. Send me an email and I can provide a quote. Another common paper size is 8x8 in.
If you purchase a custom miniscape and change your mind, only 90% of the cost can be refunded to you. The 10% retained covers the website and payment processing fees that I am charged upon purchase.
